Punjab School Education Department 15000 Latest Teaching Jobs 2022 Mr Murad Raas, the Punjab Minister for School Education Department, has stated that 15,000 new hires will be made in the education department by 2022. He noted that there are a total of 50,000 vacant seats in all of Punjab’s government schools.

The following statement was made at a press conference on March 3, 2022, stating that, although there are 50 thousand vacant seats available in schools, only 15000 teachers will be hired in the first phase of educator jobs in 2022, according to the Department of Education. These positions will be available for PST, EST, and SST teachers.

Murad Raas has made similar statements about the recruitment of teachers in Punjab, but these statements were not followed through due to financial constraints.

The most recent recruitment took place in 2018 under the administration of Shahbaz Sharif. The Punjab government carried out recruitments of educators under the leadership of the PMLN in the years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. However, since the election of their government, there has been no more recruitment of teachers in Punjab.

People in Punjab are waiting for teaching positions because there are millions of master’s degree holders, both male and female, in the province. Because of the lateness of teacher recruitment, their ages are increasing.
